Bears Crossing is a private, four season community, located less than a mile from Mount Snow in Southern Vermont. Surrounded by Green Mountain National Forest, the development consists of 78 townhouse style condominiums and 48 houses.

When the snow starts to fall, Bears Crossing becomes a Winter Wonderland. Skiers hop on the 4WD bus to Mt. Snow; at the end of the day, we shuttle home or make the easy cruise down our beautiful, private ski-home trail.

Non-skiers know how to enjoy Winter, too: Sleigh rides, cross- country and snowshoe treks, snowmobiling, bon-fire parties, national competitions, mountain fireworks—and so much more.

In Spring, when the “frosting” melts, amazing wildlife and perennials start to emerge. A walk on The Valley Trail, accessed across the street from our entrance, showcases it all.

But, if you ask homeowners to choose their favorite season… many would say “Summertime”! The Bears Crossing grounds are nicely landscaped; flowering annuals surround a beautiful outdoor pool that’s heated and meticulously maintained; our Har-Tru tennis court is popular with full-time summer residents as well as weekenders.

Others opt for the superb biking trails, factory outlets, art shows, jet skiing, boating, golf--they’re all here! Yes, Summer just might be Vermont at its best...

And when “green” mountains become blazing red and orange - well, that’s the Fall Foliage spectacle that made us famous!
